2011 Recap & Prosit Neujahr {Happy New Year!}

Holy cow!  Where the heck did 2011 go?  It just breezed right on by!  Before officially ringing in the new year, I thought I'd recap all of 2011.  What a great year it's been!

~January~

I got promoted to Major!

We moved to Germany!

~February~

Took a USO Tour to Salzburg to see where the Sound of Music was filmed.

~March~

Took my first trip to Strasbourg, France

Celebrated the life of our beloved Auntie Jewel, who went to be with God after a 5-year battle with cancer.  May she rest in peace.

Sina's first trip to the zoo (Wilhema Zoo, Stuttgart)

My first Mother's Day at the Spring Festival in Stuttgart

Malu's First Father's Day

Malu starts working at EUCOM!

My BFF Chrissy Visits & Our Trip to Poland!

Malu completes his reclassification course at Fort Dix as a Civil Affairs NCO and graduates with honors!  So proud of you babe! We were so happy to see him after a month apart.

Christmas with the Finch Family!  They visited Stuttgart and we visited their hometown in Parsberg.  We went to Xmas Markets in Strasbourg and Regensburg and in Stuttgart.

Whoa nelly!  So many great things.  We definitely look forward to experiencing more this year.  Hope you all continue to follow along on our adventures.

P.S.  We'll be ringing in the new year with the Wells Family tonight.  And guess what?  Fireworks are legal in Germany and apparently, they'll be going off like crazy tonight.  They're not allowed on post, but lucky for us, the Wells' live OFF post!!!
