Happy 13 Months to our darling Vaiosina.
Can't remember much from this past month. The only thing that stands out is the fact that she learned how to say "I love you" or "Ah la la" in Vaiosina-ese a few weeks ago. Only then, she'd say it after it was said to her. We thought, okay she's just repeating what she hears and doesn't really know what it means. Last week, she was in her pack n' play while I washed the dishes in the kitchen. I looked over at her (her crib was in the living room) and I'm not sure how long she was watching me, but she looked me dead in the eye, flashed me the biggest smile that she could and screamed, "Ah la la!" I think she knows exactly what it means.
Right back at you sweet girl. And at a time when I'm definitely feeling the sting of Malu's absence, she's here to provide me comfort and joy. She is an amazing little girl and we are so lucky to have her.

By the way...a month after Sina's 1st birthday and I'm still getting gifts in the mail from family and friends. Thanks so much to all of you! We love and miss you!

I love how she says I love you and of course she knows what it means...she has perfect parents to show her love so much she already knows!
